Our Doctors
We are Lien Animal Clinic, a progressive small-animal veterinary practice in West Seattle that has been serving our community since 1951. We are a fun, hardworking group of team members who genuinely care about each other and about the patients we help every day. We always strive to provide our clients and their beloved critters with superior treatment from the moment they walk through our doors and are lucky enough to have some of the best clients you could ask for. We surround ourselves with positive co-workers who thrive in an environment where learning is encouraged, exceptional care is taught, and a little silliness is welcomed.
We're here to serve you five days a week with full clinic services, including coordinating cases with area veterinary specialists.

Deborah J. Wolf
DVM
Dr. Wolf joined Lien Animal Clinic in September 2016. She earned her DVM degree from Michigan State University in 2001 and also holds a BS in Biology. Dr. Wolf practiced small animal medicine in Michigan before relocating to the Seattle area in 2007. She has a broad range of experience including general medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Wolf is a native of Germany and speaks fluent German. She has multiple fur children including a cat, a Standard wire-haired Dachshund, a Standard Poodle, and a bunny. She also has three human children. She enjoys the Sounders and the Seahawks. In her free time, she loves to read, paint, and create things.

Liz Reese
DVM
Dr. Reese joined the Lien Animal Clinic team in March of 2021. She earned her DVM degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a BS from Muhlenberg College in both Neuroscience and Spanish.
Dr. Reese always knew she wanted to a veterinarian. Growing up on the east coast, she watched as much Animal Planet as possible at her grandparent’s house, and her whole family nurtured her interest in animals through any and every avenue possible. Dr. Reese has been in the veterinary field since 2018 and is looking forward to establishing connections with her clients and patients in her new West Seattle area.
In her spare time, she likes to read, practice yoga, listen to music, and go hiking. She is hopeful to get back into beach volleyball and to take up some water sports. Dr. Reese has a cat named Xena with a neurological issue and a ton of personality that she helped rehabilitate. She also is a big fan of travel and lived on a Caribbean island for three years. She appreciates the simple joys in life and likes to live life fully.

Rob Phillips
DVM
Dr. Phillips joined the Lien Animal Clinic team in August of 2021. He earned his DVM degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, WI where he grew up and where most of his family still resides. He also holds a BS in Biology from the same university.
Dr. Phillips has always been interested in the science and medical fields. Working as a veterinary assistant during his undergrad studies solidified his interest in working with animals. He always had both cats and dogs while growing up and enjoys seeing the joy that the human-animal bond brings.
He recently moved to West Seattle, WA from Madison, WI with his fiancée, Abbey, and they are loving the beautiful scenery and vast array of outdoor experiences to enjoy in their new area. In his spare time you can find him outdoors doing anything from running, to hiking, to biking, or playing soccer. He’d love to go to Banff National Park in Canada someday to camp and hike. He also enjoys reading, cooking, baking, playing board games, and spending time with his cat Charlie whom he adopted from the humane society before beginning vet school. His baking specialty is banana bread, and as far as reading goes – he loves Sci-Fi and non-fiction the most.

Abbigail Alexander
DVM
Dr. Alexander joined the Lien Animal Clinic team in August of 2021. She earned her DVM degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, followed by a one-year internship at Conejo Valley Veterinary Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. She originally is from South Carolina where she received her B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University.
Dr. Alexander has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was four years old. Improving the comfort and quality of life for pets has always been a top priority for her and she finds that process very rewarding.
She moved to the Seattle area about three years ago, and she’s excited to start building relationships with her new clients and patients at Lien Animal Clinic. She plans to set her roots in West Seattle by helping pets live happy, healthy lives from puppyhood or kittenhood all the way through their senior years. She also is passionate about internal medicine, geriatric care, and dental care for her patients.
An avid gardener, Dr. Alexander has 18 varieties of hybrid tea roses and is considering becoming a Master Rosarian. Aside from gardening, her other interests include interior design and travelling. She’s specifically inspired by eighteenth century French architecture and would love to see the lavender fields of Provence. She and her husband Pere live with their birman tabby mix, Mr. Darcy, and their black lab/hound mix, Macy. Her favorite book, if you hadn’t guessed, is Pride and Prejudice. She also has a fondness for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
