In response to COVID-19, we want to reassure clients that we are doing everything we can to prevent the spread of illness at our clinic. We have increased our already diligent cleaning and disinfecting schedules and have ample hand washing and sanitizing stations for both staff and clients. We are still seeing patients and will continue to do so. The health and wellbeing of your pets is very important to us, and we know it is to you too.
This being said, we will likely begin to see some staffing and scheduling challenges in the upcoming weeks. As Seattle Public Schools have just announced a two-week closure, we have staff members who are now having to juggle childcare and work schedules. Immunocompromised staff members may begin to consider staying home from work, and we are asking our staff to please stay home if they feel ill.
We know there are many of you out there who are having to make new plans for these changes as well. We are asking you to please bear with us as we do our best to navigate the effects this virus has on our community.
If any of our clients are ill, we ask that you please follow the instructions of the CDC and avoid contact with other people.
If any of our clients are ill, or are in an at-risk demographic and wish to avoid public places at this time, we'd like to remind them that we now offer virtual visits!
Lien Animal Clinic's virtual visits are consults with your doctor on a mobile app called TeleVet. This is a helpful option for clients who have concerns for their pet but are unable to travel to the clinic. When you need us, create a consultation request detailing your pet’s issue and don’t forget to upload any pictures or videos that may help us diagnose your pet. If you have a preferred doctor, this is a great time to let us know in the consult request notes. Once your request is received, we will get you scheduled to speak with us over a video conference call to help get your pet feeling better again.

Thank you and stay well!
